"The case is a nice heavy piece of chrome. The finish is very good although by comparison the fixing screws seem cheap quality. Very easy to fit but do check the depth of your enclosures as the wires exit straight through the back rather than from the bottom you may need to bend them sharply to get the dimmer to fit fit closely to the wall. Wiring is straight forward with clear instructions. Once connected the switch push action is positive and the dimmer function very smooth. A nice feature is being able to set the dimmer level where you want it then just push it for on/off. This dimmer has a small adjuster in the back to balance sensitive bulbs, but using it with about 150W Of halogen bulbs it worked perfectly straight from the box. It does buzz a little but it isn't loud enough to be an annoyance. All in all it's a good dimmer at a good price, I'll certainly buy more of them in the future."

Review 6 for LAP 1-Gang 2-Way Push Dimmer Switch 400W/400VA Polished Chrome
"This is an attractive looking dimmer switch and I like the "push on/off & turn to dim" operation that this has. Fitting was very tricky though as it has a pretty large module on the back and I didn't have much space in the pattress box. I found that the module rotated a little though, which did help as I was able to fit it without cutting back the cable outer sheath - but only just! I have this operating a ceiling light with 5 x 40W halogen G9 capsules and it works fine."
