"What is there to say about plastic capping??? Good, decent stuff that I had no trouble using, it does shatter in places quite easily, but not into big enough pieces, or enough to be worried about. Would certainly use again and again."
"A bit thinner than expected, I wouldn't expect it to protect cables from anything more than being plastered onto really. I doubt it would stop a nail being put through it. Cracks quite easily unless you take your time."
"This conduit is a made from a thinner plastic than other manufacturers products. Even though I had drilled holes in it for where the masonry nails fix to the wall to stop it cracking....it cracked on several occasions!"
"The quality is so poor it's not fit for purpose. Plastic is poor grade and brittle. Split when I cut it, Shattered when tried fixing it. Whole seam split off along 2m length down one side, leaving nothing to fix with. Binned it and bought another brand elsewhere."
"This is undoubtedly the worst capping that I've ever encounterd. It's totally unusable as it shatters and breaks as soon as you try to nail it to the wall. I even resorted to drilling the capping prior to attempting to fix to the wall using capping nails, it still shattered. In the end I had to retrieve the old capping from the skip that had been stripped out of the job. This worked a treat & didn't shatter, split or break. As a professional electrician I haven't got time to waste trying to fit sub standard kit, it cost the customer & myself money. Save yourself hassle and look for an alternative better quality product 8-("
