"Not too much you can say about CoAx plugs but these ones are pretty good.
Very reasonable for the price, metal construction and plenty in the pack so you can have plenty for the toolbox.
One thing that I felt that it lacked was a retaining screw for the inner core. Unless you tightened the clamp all the way, the collett doesn't grip the cable correctly and on my first go i found the cable moving within the plug. Went back and retightened everything and it was fine but a retaining screw would have helped.
All in all, can't really complain. They were built nicely and they did the job without costing too much."
"These plugs are of good quality, well made, and good value for money. The nickel plated brass build make them far superior to the aluminium plugs on the market. They assemble well and hold the cable firmly in place, making good contact, with the cable, to allow continuity of signal. Its easy to tighten up by hand without the use of force with pliars like similar on the market. And if you clumbsy enough to drop them, their shiny finish allows you to find them easily."
"From previous purchases I would normally expect Labgear products to be good quality. However, these coax plugs are a big disappointment. In a pack of 10 the first three I took out were unusable. On two the flimsy pvc insulation supporting the central connector had also covered part of the connector pin itself so no way would this make proper contact. On the third the central connector pin was so badly mis-aligned that it was very difficult to plug it into a matching socket. I'll be returning them for a refund!"
