"Needed to remove mold in bathroom. Used a spray remover then had to cover the stain left behind. Used the above with great results. Thought about just leaving the ceiling as it was as I had good coverage, but painted over with a specific anti mold paint and then bathroom paint to try to prevent future growth. Happy with the product."
"Pros: 1. Much cheaper for a small area than a huge tin 2. It stain-blocked my badly water stained ceiling, coving and plasterboard wall perfectly 3. Relatively easy to use and does not drip, sag or curtain if applied as instructed Cons: 1. Yes, a fine dust covered everything nearby but it hoovered up 2. Yes, over application left an eggshell finish but that rubbed off. Summary: Use it as instructed and this is a really cheap and effective way to cover a small area but use dust sheets. Fully Recommended"
"We maintain a lot of property. We use stain block regularly and this Screwfix spray is the least effective we have tried. Maybe its a bad tin but we definitely going back to our old supplier for stain block. Sorry Screwfix. Total waste of money and more importantly a waste of our time. You have been warned."
"What a badly misconceived product! I was dubious from the start, masked the surrounding area, dust sheets, open windows the lot. The overspray is so noxious it drives you from the room. It takes several coats to cover even a minor stain and the dust spreads over an unbelievably large area. Spray paint indoors? Whatever clown came up with this idea? And to make maters worse, it doesn't even seal the stain in!"
"very powdery and grainy residue doesn't cover even after five treatments, it put a lot of product dust into the air, will never buy again. only purchased this as it was the only one screwfix sell now, purchased the polycell stain block did the job in one coat great."
