"This is my third vac in 8 years and by far the best Bought it when on offer for £99 - Hence only 4 stars for value Everything you would expect from the Karcher brand. One minor gripe is that the plastic tube and brush is not that great. But I use it with the nozzle 99% of the time. Picks up everything, blows, bags are not too expensive if you search on-line. Great working tool"
"This does what it says. A good strong suction with a convenient range of tools making it easy to clean up almost any debris. Using this item daily on a major rebuild of part of my house makes keeping the place tidy much easier. The connection to power tools is useful although with all of the varied connection designs on different power tools it can be a bit awkward.
Biggest drawback is that no dustbags are supplied with the unit so it is not ready to use out of the box. Using it without a dustag just clogs up the cartridge filter very quickly which is more expensive to replace."
"Bought this to replace my burned out wet n dry vac. Got it out the box, instructions are simple, easy to put together. Tried it in the house and the performance is great. Very light, left the castors off as they are not required, easy to carry while using. Only gave it 3 stars on reliability as time will tell. Being Karcher should be no problem for spares. Useful little toolkit is going to live in the house as the vac is required for wet work and will live in my van. I can see this being very useful in the home especially in the awkward spots."
"I needed a good all round cleaner to use on site. Having read the reviews of other Karcher users I decided to go for this one.
It does all it says on the box, sucks, blows and comes with a good selection of accessories.
One of its best features for me is the plug for power tools. You plug your power tool into the cleaner and as you start the tool the cleaner switches itself on, then when you stop machinining the cleaner switches itself off. Brilliant!!! No double switching with both machines or additional trailing leads.
I did buy a packet of bags for it as other users had recommended, it keeps the filter cleaner and lasts longer. Pity there isn't one in the box when you buy."
"Used mainly for drying floors so far - works great provided the water is not too soapy.
If the water is soapy, it foams up inside, and interferes with the shutoff valve which should only operate when the tank is full - instead it trips even when the tank is empty. Only solution then is to remove the filter and wash it out in clean water, but you have to do this every time the tank fills, which get very time consuming.
Other than that, it works fine, but really should include at least one dustbag."
"The principle of this vacuum is good. Biggest problem was that the soft top end of the filter broke up after being cleaned a few times - needs reinforcement at the top end. Other comments - the crevice nozzle could do with being thinner. Would be to have a second (simpler) filter which could be used while using the Blower function to clean the main filter. An extra hose connector so exhaust air can be ducted to the outside. Otherwise bit over priced but you pay for the name so no surprise there. Tempted to recomend."
"Being objective, Karcher is a good name, trusted and SHOULD be reliable. This unit has had light use, not been abused and here are the observations: 1. Locking clip sheared off within two weeks. 2. No dust bags provided from new 3. Short vac trunking 4. Brittle plastic extension tubes, both have snapped / cracked. 5. Brittle angled tubing connector (the part that fits into the extension tubes / accessories). Within a month the tubes were trashed, the angled tubing connector had sheared off at the end.
This is shocking. For a vac with these features it SHOULD be more robust.
Please let me stress, our kit is not abused, porperly stored and cared for as we invest in quality tools.
This will no longer be this unit. Ideal as it is with the PTO and 1400W motor, blow and suck etc... this is a terrible unit.
