"These are a beautiful well finished set of taps that represent very good value for money. I can't comment on reliability as I've only just fitted them but I would expect them to last well. One review commented on having difficulty tightening the pillar nut due to very little clearance. The solution is to fit the taps without the flexible hoses and then fit the hoses once the taps are secure. The hoses only need to be done up hand tight so there's no need to get a spanner on them."
"Bought this tap set as existing ones were end of useful life. Easy to fit and came with full pop up waste set as well. Transformed the tired sink/tap combo and now looks great! Bargain price, but so far happy days!"
"Used this 'traditional' tap in a modern bathroom and it looks great. Easy to use with soapy fingers. Plumber said easy to fit. Will be buying more in the same range to replace other bathroom fittings"
"Had to replace failed unit when inner casket started leaking. This was the nearest replacement. Nearest in that its the same style but better quality so hopefully will last more than the 3 years of the previous make."
"Quality product at a budget price - looks good and feels solid. Came with everything you needed in the box, including the drain and plug (not expected). Would have given 5 stars across the board if it came with instructions for installing the drain. Excellent purchase - happy to recommend!"
"Hmm, ok this tap looks good and the tap itself seems to work fine but the mounting stud hole has been machined so close to the tail tail holes that when you come to tighten the pillar nut up to hold the tap to the sink the mounting pillar nut and the tap tails are touching so you can't get even the thinnest box spanner onto the nut. This means you can't tighten it more than finger tight giving you a wobbly tap,not good for the customer or your reputation as a plumber. Swirl could rectify this by supplying a longer pillar nut.(Or by actually test fitting the tap at the production stage but I guess it's too late for that.)"
