"What I like about Spax is they never slip, never chew up and never waste any. I have used Spax many times over the last 5 years, on the old outhouses we have, I have been changing them around and the screws still come out perfectly, unlike other cheap screws, these do not snap when you remove them, this is great as I can re-use them time and time again. These are an excellent performance screw."
"I had heard about Spax screws but never used them until I was asked to construct a built-in wardrobe when I thought I'd try them out. I drilled pilot holes as I would for other screws but believe that I didn't need to as these screws would drive straight through. I'll pick Spax screws in future."
"This is not the cheapest wood screw but it is well worth the extra cost - it drives fast and self drills without splitting materials even at the edge of MDF. This saves time and effort, once you try these you won't go back to the cheaper alternatives."
"These screws are easy to drive with a power drill without the need for a pilot hole. The heads do not snap off under pressure and the bits retain their grip on the head without rounding. I could not find any information on resistance to rusting so will have to wait and see how they perform outdoors."
"Does exactly what they should do, none failure of screw head even in the tightest corners. These bad boys are holding this oak floor in position. Screw head is small enough to hide below the t&g joints."
