"Seems very robust. Have used several times now for a rather demanding task and it hasn't let me down. Would prefer it without a chuck key but can't have everything. Others I've used without a key weren't as rugged or durable so decided to go with this Bosch one as they're a reliable manufacturer and tend not to produce substandard kit."
"Having purchased a new 18v sds drill and additional items I required to use a non sds bit for countersink a metal sheeting, this was the perfect choice as it meant using an old drill that I had would lead to a lot of hassle. I purchased the chuck bit and it worked a treat without the need for getting my old PAT Tested as I used my new battery operated drill. Best piece of kit I have bought in ages great quality and from a proven manufacturer."
"Good piece of kit allowing me to use my old drill bits in my SDS drill. Easy to assemble and a good snug fit in my Bosch 2100 RE drill. A little expensive in my view, compared to some others, but does seem to be well made and if it lasts the test of time, it will be worth it. The click and collect service works very smoothly. I ordered online and was in the store 20 minutes later to pick up my purchase."
"There are several different manufacturers on the market but Bosch are possibly one of the best. I use this chuck for my Bosch 2kg sds plus drill and it quickly adapts it to a conventional drill allowing you to use this drill for everything ."
"So, bought a kick bottom SDS drill but all I could use it for was masonry. This little piece of kit enables it to be more than a one trick pony. Feels weighty and sturdy. Holds the standard bits fine (always feels safer securing with a key than a twist grip). Pricier than others but hoping that's for the reliability aspect. We shall see otherwise I'll go out and buy two of the cheaper ones!"
"I thought I would struggle to find this type of fitting because it is a chuck adaptor. However, Screwfix came through with the goods, offering excellent advice as usual. I thought I was in trouble because my hammer drill is a Makita at least 20 years old, yet the Bosch product fits ok. Although it is doing the job, I am thus far unable to loosen the screw, so that I can tighten it completely. I will get help to do this from a friend who is an expert with such things, but I know very well that this has been machine tightened by the manufacturer, as is so often the case. Manufacturers, please consider that your users are human, not torqued up like a factory machine!"
"Bought this to go with my new Bosch drill as it is hammer rated, used for a some drilling into brick and concrete, drill bit does not slip and chuck is easy to insert into the drill for quick bit changes.
Would buy again if needed, for home DIY I do not see this wearing out anytime soon though!"
