Does the job

"Although very light and seemingly flimsy, these trestles comfortably take the weight of solid doors and 3m worktops. As with any supporting device, you just have to ensure they are on level ground. The rubber grips are effective and I have found that a weighty solid door can be power planed without the need for clamps.
Being so light, they are easily carried and are easy to hang on tool hooks. They are expensive for plastic but they do the job."

Spot on! Can not fault it.

"Purchased these pair for my kitchen fitting job the other day and I am so happy that I did. Extremely strong but very light and portable too. Perfect for the cutting large panels on it. Even long strip of wood would stay on it without slipping due to rubber parts on the top surface. Shelves are very useful too to put your tools on the go. Highly recommend it."

OK , bit pricey

"I bought these to handle some sheet material work, (exterior and marine ply cutting and trimming), having loaned my old B&D WorkMate elsewhere. I completed the work OK by hand-sawing. The sturdy clamping points are very useful. I just felt a bit insecure because the trestles seemed not substantial enough. They're strong from the design of the moulding, but not weightily sturdy. (They're made of some recycled plastic type of material). I didn't attempt power sawing partly because of that and also because was working on my own."

They Work - But...
28 Nov 2013

"I bought these to use as sawhorses, and as trestles for temporary table/bench use.
I thought that the bottom shleves would be useful. But they aren't really.
With hindsight it would have been better to spend less on a different horse. Or spend a similar amount on two cheapie versions of a workmate. These would be more versatile and stronger.
On the plus side, they weigh next to nothing."
