"Used to paint bay roof and get ready for winter. Was expecting a sticky time but was surprised how easy this paint was to apply. After 24 hours second coat went on just as easy. Neighbour was impressed and as I had half a tin left I waterproofed his bay roof as well."

Review 2 for Cementone Cementone Bituminous Paint Black 5Ltr
"I bought this to treat a 2m x 3m (6 square metres) shiplap shed roof before re-felting it. The roof had been leaking and when the old felt came off the timber had shrunk a bit and small splits had developed where the felt nails had been.
This was easy to apply and I needed about 1.5 litres to cover the roof but that included loading the brush up to get into the gaps between the boards and fill the cracks. I only did one coat because it was going to be covered up.
It dried in under an hour! This was on a hot. humid, overcast day and the timber had been allowed to dry for 24 hours before I started so was bone dry but this was still very good.
Kicked the painting off at 10am and had the roof fully re-felted by 4pm without pushing it. By 2pm I was able to move the roll of felt over the paint without damaging it.
Downside - the fumes are horrendous! I react very badly to any solvent-based products and if it hadn't been for the fact that I was on a roof with a nice breeze I would not have been able to use this. Definitely not for use in confined areas."

Review 3 for Cementone Cementone Bituminous Paint Black 5Ltr
"Bought this paint for a special project to be used on MDF (as it claimed it was General Purpose for wood, metal, etc). Applied the 2nd coat three days after the 1st coat and it was still tacky. After nearly two weeks of applying the second coat, items were placed on to the finished product and surprisingly everthing just 'stuck' to the paint which took great effort to remove and literally ruined the work we had spend days to complete. We now have to disassemble everything, try and get rid of this paint somehow, sand and repaint with a better quality paint - or redo the entire job...all at huge cost. Will not recommend or buy this paint ever again."
