"Couldn't be without this now. Spent ages comparing different makes and models before buying this. I bought the folding trolley to go with mine as well. I use it most days for cutting sheet timber, fine cutting architraves, and reducing large timbers down to the exact sizes that I need. Hard to cut rebates as the riving knife sits higher than the blade. Not a replacement for a workshop table saw but invaluable on site."
"Fully agree with all comments. This is light enough to carry around [not too far though - just from van to site] and packs up well for transportation. I bought the deWalt folding table/trolley to move it around and that makes it very portable over longer distances, as well as giving an ideal working height when you get there. It's handled everything I've thrown at it, including ripping v. thick stock. Expensive, but you really do get what you pay for. In this case, superb deWalt quality!"
"We have needed a table saw for a while now but wanted to buy a light weight portable one rather than the big heavy duty flip over saws, this dewalt model fits the bill perfectly.Initially we used it for ripping down softwood door frames & mdf skirting boards, cut through them like they were'nt even there saved us so much time.It is easy to use, lightweight & powerful possibly the best power tool we have ever bought."
"Chose this saw for DeWalt quality and for being lightweight. No problem lifting out of van to workplace. I especially like the rack & pinion gear on the fence - spot on accuracy! Powerful motor and low friction coating on table makes timber movement easy. I use mine lots when kitchen fitting, cutting fill-in panels, ripping plinth etc. Quite noisy but most of these small saws are. Very good dust collection when attached to a vacuum cleaner. The on-off switch could be better located but otherwise it's a great tool and highly recommended."
"having cheaper models replaced several times i decided to buy this, as usual it is expensive but well worth it. it has been designed for moving around and the sliding rip fence is solid, good locking down enables you to rip with confidence all tools are located on the sides and well secured. out of the box it is complete even the blade was fitted. a dust bag for the exhaust would have been a nice idea but all in all a good bit of kit"
"I have only had this machine a week but it is so unbelievably accurate. I fitted a better quality blade (Royobi) which kills most of the noise. 100% accurate straight out of the box and if slight ajustments are needed they are easy to make. The riving knife is quick and easy to fit/remove and the fence has a clever sliding section to ease cutting wonky boards and stop them binding, The rack and pinion fence is a dream since it is secured at both ends. The mitre slide is a bit under engineered but it wobbles a lot less than some I've seen. The saw plate adjusts and locks in place. You won't get a hernia lifting it around and you can store it under the bench when not in use. The crown guard has an extraction port on it but 99% of the muck comes out the back and is well contained with a vacuum cleaner. The on/off switch could have been a bit easier to reach and the blade bevelling adjustment is very direct without a hand wheel...well it will never jamb up or break then! OK it costs a bit more than the usual rubbish but if you are thinking of doing anything more than ripping up fencing or floor boards then this is the machine for you."
