"bought to use with chain on my ladders seams ok keys are a little cheep looking its a problem i have had for years normal padlocks being cut and ladders going walkies hope this lock will be better rated on it being hear 2 months"
"This lock saved my workshop being broken into, when 6 other workshops were broken into and cleaned out, the thieves worked on the padlock for some time before giving up and going away, the lock was badly damaged but still works although a bit stiff now, watch them trying to get in on youtube, search "readman thieves""
"I bought this with high hopes to secure an outbuilding, but it has proved to be a real disappointment. The shackle is often reluctant to release and the keys are of very poor quality, and are already showing signs of wear. Spend your money on something better."
"I have cheap suitcase locks that are more secure than this padlock. It opens if you hit it with a hammer and is the easiest to pick lock I have ever tried. Don't use this to secure anything of value. Poorly but as well, loads of gaps to insert tools to force it open if you need to."

"Bought two of these for my bicycles (OTT but bikes are very expensive) after a few weeks of daily use the key broke off inside the lock and due to the fact that it was in the town centre and I had to get home I had to call a locksmith out, £30. He got the key out, lubricated the padlock and it was fine for 3 more weeks then key jammed, luckily when the lock was open this time. Definitely both locks going back!!!!!!"
"Don't waste your money if you are securing anything of any value what-so-ever! We have a farm yard that is regularly targeted by the theiving community, they made very short work of this lock. Unfortunately they took the lock with them, as seems to be their habbit, so we can't tell how they got in. Freezing them with plumbers gas then hitting them with a hammer seems to be their favoured method at the moment. Gone back to the relative safety of Abus closed shackle locks, CEN rated 4, for £36."
