"Yet again another great product from Yale. Very easy to fit, look on side of door in line with centre of lock remove long (about 50mm) threaded screw, insert your key into lock and turn it a small amount you can then remove the lock. Pull out lock barrel with key, measure from centre of screw hole to end of lock then the same to the other end of the lock and you come up with two sizes ie 35mm 35mm or various sizes that are not always equal. Refitting is the reversal of removal. Takes about 10 mins from start to finish, always remember to fit the key into the barrel to move centre lock portion so it fits in hole."

Review 3 for Yale 6-Pin Euro Cylinder Lock BS 40-40 (80mm) Polished Brass
"At the super price this unit is and for the extra security features over most locks this is a MUST BUY for any homebuyer who has just moved. In a few minutes you can change your lock to a highly secure one and know that you alone have had access to the keys and, more importantly, know who has any spare ones in future. Usual YALE top quality made and smooth locking to boot."

Review 4 for Yale 6-Pin Euro Cylinder Lock BS 40-40 (80mm) Polished Brass
"What could go wrong with replacing a like for like euro cylinder? Took less than 10 mins to change and works well. However, to get the RIGHT cylinder took me three attempts and a visit to a local professional locksmith company. Apparently the cylinders could be measured in one of three ways, depending on the supply company. There is nothing in the screwfix catalogue, or on the web site, telling the uninitiated what their sizes mean. A simple diagram showing how the 35/35 is arrived at would solve this. Took me over a week to get the right one and 10 mins to fit."
