"I bought this to replace a budget circular saw which had seen better days. I'm so glad I did! it's excellent. I was cutting up a dismantled shed, so there were a few embedded nails. No problem. I'm particularly impressed with the depth adjustment; very accessible and positive. Feels very powerful, but not frightening if you've used one before. Comfortable to use, and well-balanced. Only gripe (very minor) is; it would be nice if there was a keeper for the allen key. Too easy to put it in a safe place, never to be seen again!"
"What an excellent saw and on an special offer price as cheap as chips. Excellent safety features and easy to use, with no kick backs. only downside, this blade cuts through just about anything so extra care must be used when cutting out flooring sections to set the depth of cut extremely accurately or you may get more problems than you bargained for."
"Bought to saw lengths of old mahogany door and window frames into useful pieces, but I have used it for a lot of cutting since. Easy to use and very fast cutting. Very pleased with the performance. The slight drawbacks are the dust extraction and the long depth setting locking screw through the handle which feels flimsy. Dust extraction outlet is not good - better to use your vac pipe next to the saw as cutting proceeds."
"Having already had an evolution sliding mitre saw for 2 years now, the overall quality and performance came as no surprise. What really irks me is how stingy with the cable.....6 ft is all.....how dear is cable at wholesale prices? My other recent purchase elsewhere was a Worx jigsaw and even that came with 10 feet of cable, a perfect length without dragging the extension around after you like an errant puppy on a short lead. Cable length has been mentioned by many before by all accounts....A great cut though. 10/10"
