"Silky smooth and well made. I've not owned it long enough to assess reliability but it feels like a quality product. I've only used it for wood as yet and it went through it as if it wasn't there, but I did notice on television yesterday that a demolition company was using these saws to cut up a 40 metre high steel gasometer into manageable pieces. 4 star for features because it doesn't come with a hard case or a dust bag."
"Its easy to use, straight out of the box. Much better than some other saws I've used in the past . Not had that long or used for anything extreme, but quality appears good and so would expect it to last well and perform well. I think it's excellent value only worry is cost of replacement blade as price quoted is half of what I paid for the saw."
"I bought this following reading lots of reviews and holding other saws as I'm left handed and wanted to make sure I could hold it and do the switch etc. I do the double safety switch with the same finger so that's ok. My only quibble is I tend to stand where the dust extraction is so I end up getting covered. On its performance, it cut through 20mm ply like butter. The guide appears nice and rigid too unlike other flimsy ones. So far so good."
"Easy to use, straight out of the box. Much better than some cheaper saws I've used in the past and appears to be excellent quality. Not had that long or used for anything complex so far so only 4 stars foe features and durability, but quality appears good and so would expect it to last well and perform well. I think it's excellent value for a competent DIYer or small tradesman. And a 3 year guarantee!"
"When I saw the name of this saw, I thought: I'm not angry with my timber, I just want to cut it. This thing cuts it. As an amateur, I can't claim to have tried many others. All I can say is how easy it is to use, straight out of the box. Highly recommended. Don't remember the name of the lady in Eastleigh branch who helped me buy this, sorry. Very helpful and pleasant. Nice atmosphere in there. I felt comfortable asking my silly questions."
"Purchased specifically to cut 60mm insulated metal roof panels. Well impressed, like a hot knife through butter and cut straight and true. The only change I'd make would be some sort of protection for the eye guide as it soon gets covered in dust. Well happy with it, especially for the money."
"better quality than most the die cast footplate is more rigid than the pressed steel ones as they distort while operating & end up with a crooked cut. Nice smooth motor & thin blade. Only one whinge :- could have done with an extended dust outlet when cutting to attach an extractor hose as the dust goes everywhere."
"Bought this to trim my decking straight and this saw performed superbly. A bit daunting to use a circular saw for the first time but got used to this very quickly and was able to make good cuts right out of the box. Very sturdy and easy to operate, a good addition to a DIYers tool box."
"Why didn't I buy this earlier? I had a cheap one which I only used occasionally...I now know why....I am actively looking for reasons to use this saw LOL.
Performs so much better than my other saw, and this will also cut a nail/screw. Unless you work exclusively with virgin wood you might meet one of these little devils one day!
Well balanced, easy to handle and accurate cut. I have the evolution chop saw as well, and for the price I am really happy. BUT for me the ability to cut wood AND metal (cleanly as well!) overrides any other manufacturer. As they say, why buy anything else?"
"Bought this to replace a slightly cheaper circular saw I had bought from lidl. The lidl one seemed fine but stopped working after a few months. Got a refund and decided to try this one and have been amazed at the speed and ease of cutting so far. Had some 4 x 2 to chop through which took a matter of seconds to go through and a very clean cut as well. Seems well built and it is certainly easy to use. Would recommend to any DIY'er!"
"Purchased this saw almost 12 months ago and has been worth every penny. I don't use it every day and mainly use it to cut ply/sterling board and floor boards which it goes through with no problems at all, for the money it is fantastic and highly recommend it for basic cutting not ripping down 7 x 2 every day."
"This is the first time I've used a circular saw and I can honestly say I'm very impressed. Have managed to cut through both soft and hard wood with ease. In fact it glides through any piece of wood. Would highly recommend it!"
