Superb dual Dimmer switch
27 Aug 2014
By Beechy1

" I used this dual dimmer switch to replace a standard 2 gang on/off switch for my wall lights.
Fitting was remarkably easy and the feature of the hidden screw heads makes the item look superb. The push button action to switch the lights on & off is positive and clunk free. The dimmer action is smooth without any sudden surge in light or dimming

2 / 3 modules failed in 18 mth
6 Dec 2012
By sparkytim

" These dimmer plates look and feel good quality as the faceplates are solid cast metal but unfortunately the dimmer modules are very unreliable and the clip-on design is flawed.
I installed 3 of these dimmers for a customer and 2 of them failed within 18 months - just outside the warranty period.
They were both controlling loads half of their max capacity and fitted correctly.
Also the lugs that hold the front plate onto the body of the switch are very short so if your walls are not 100% flat they will not clip on & even if all is perfect they need a very hard smack or 10 to get the springs to grip.
