"I can't really get excited about sludge remover - what can I say - I squirted it into the radiator as per instructions - I presume it did its job - no way of telling really but at least it showed the wife that I was willing to do DIY jobs around the house."

Usual Sentinel product.

"I have used Sentinel before and found it works, so I am not reviewing the product but the applicator.
What they don't tell you is it will not work with the bleed valves that have a hole at the side to direct the water away like the ones you get on ladder rads! I followed the instructions to the letter and as soon as I turned the valves back on and expected the little rubber bullet to seal the end a 4 foot jet of water shot all over me and the bathroom!
After mopping up (and repairing the rad valve that had decided to leak as well after operating it) I tried a normal type rad. I must say it worked well with little spillage, but be warned!!"
