"As a retired press toolmaker I have been using this type of tool all my life. This unit seems well made and I like the safety device on the control. This would prevent the tool from starting if it rolled off a bench etc. The tool is powerful, much more so the the small electric units on sale and can remove a lot of material quickly. I cannot comment on its reliability as I have not had the tool for long but it feels good and runs well. One tip, use ear defenders, a lifetime of using these tools has left me with some hearing loss. H&S was not so hot back in the 60's"
"I too was looking for a replacement for my 110V Dremel. As I had just bought a compressor, this tool sounded ideal.
I think that I prefer it to an electric rotary tool as it gives me better speed control and tactile feedback from what I am using it for. I.e. You can change the speed without having to stop and adjust the speed control as you do on a Dremel."
