"stunning, simply designed giving great support and a great finish to any breakfast bar. Solid, sturdy cast mounting bracket and a good chunky and weighty leg which is easily adjustable, even once installed. An absolute steal at the price"
"Simple and easy to install. Height adjuster on the base of unit is more than sufficient for most kitchen surface - simply, turn to increase or decrease. Very, robust cast fixing to underside of work surface and shaped to be non visible from a normal viewing position."
"A little more expensive than your average chrome leg, but this is far superior, having an adjustable leg, strong top fixing bracket, and a large 60mm diameter leg. I installed this leg under a worktop in a gap of 890mm. Bracket at top of leg is 10mm thick and spreads 110mm from centre diameter of leg."
"These legs are strong and good quality. The height can be adjusted in two ways. The foot on the bottom can be screwed out to increase the height by 25mm. If you need to shorten the leg you can cut it. Probably an angle grinder with cutting disk is best. However it is very difficult to get the fitting out of the top of the tube prior to cutting. This is because it is a "taperlock" system. To drive the fitting out prior to cutting you have to remove the foot and then using a long piece of timber or similar try to drive the top fitting out. You must strike the black nylon outer collar, NOT the metal centre part or you will never get it out. (This is not easy). If you are shortening the tube by more than 55mm then cut the top of the leg off first (since this will not cut the fitting inside, which is 50mm long) then drive the fitting out of the cut off piece downwards. I really don't understand why the manufacturer doesn't supply the leg with the top fitting loose, so it can be driven in after the tube is cut to length."
