Lap down lights

"why spend a lot on down lights when you can get these at a great price, they look really good and the terminal blocks are good quality which makes installation very easy. Reliability only 3 stars as I only installed them last week but I find the LAP products overall very reliable."

"lights appear to be well made and were easy to fit. Spring fittings are a lot stronger and more stable then many of the other downlighters that I have fit in the past"

May be better to buy 10 pack
25-Oct-2014
By
, Merseyside
"Good quality and small cut-out if avoiding joists in ceiling although they do need more depth (compared to Sylvania). Easy to remove bulb with circlip.
The 10 pack can work out cheaper if you need 7+ lights and the latter comes with the bulbs although most people throw the bulb away and buy LEDs.

"Fitted 6 of these today - threaded 3 terminal blocks.
No earth terminal
Cable clamp can't handle 1.5mm T&E
I had to use flat twin and JBs to do a good job."
