Loppers

"These loppers represent very good value for money. They easily cope with the stated max diameter but do have a tendency to go into telescopic mode. For £20 I don't think you will find better."

Spear & jackson bypass Loppers
27 Sep 2013
By Buypedz

"Very pleased with these, takes on most thick garden branches with ease and the telescopic feature not only enables better reach but gives more leverage for really tough work. The twist & lock feature can be a little tempermental , but you soon learn to deal with it. Well recommended and I hope they last at least the 10 yr warranty period !"

Ok
25 Jul 2013
By Bartosz

"Have been using them for 2 months during fight with extremly overgrown garden plants, trees, bushes etc. Good for the job, extension is great for cutting branches located high over ground , Will cut 35mm easy. Blade quality is average, mine got slightly damaged by sand/soil. Extension mechanism is realy ok and never interrupted my work .
Only downside is that there is no lock to store them closed. ( you can tighten the nut but lock would be much better)"
