"I bought some of this Plasticote paint and I am mostly pleased. But..... it was not perfect.
When spraying, it mostly atomised quite well, but there were several larger drops emerging from the nozzle that landed at the lower region of the spray area. They were largely covered by the following spray ( I sprayed from top to bottom). If I were wanting several light coats (as suggested) this would have been a problem. But I was applying fewer heavier coats.
The coverage was quoted as >2m. It easily covered 2m, but did not adequately cover the pigment of the primer at this coverage level. I had exactly 2 metres to cover (487mm x 3600mm), but after 2 cans (should have been enough to cover 4m) I can still see the primer. I used an enclosed booth so there was not a huge loss to wind or a large overspray area. So, coverage is OK, but pigmentation is very poor. I used the yellow, other colours may be different (better).
Overall: easy to use, but atomisation is poor (could be due to a poor nozzle dynamics and paint surface tension relationship). Also, I needed about 3 times qty for the coverage due to pigmentation deficiency. It quoted 48 hours for full drying, but after 72 hours of a thinnish (still see the primer) coat, it was too tacky to sand.
If time was not an issue, and if my primer was a very close colour match - then it may have produced good results. The final result is adequate, but it took time, it took a much higher quantity, and it was not what it said on the tin.
Poor pigment, poor atomising, slow drying times to the point it could be sanded.
It is my first time with this product, so I may need to work at it. I don't think I will though - I need better results sooner - sorry.
I'd choose another product, or return to the scores of other with which I am familiar and can get good results sooner and cheaper.
Hope this is helpful. Sorry if it sounds negative.
