"Just got this, so not had to chance to use it in anger yet. But the first thing that struck me was how 'flimsy' the outer shell seems and this is very disappointing. Yes the bolt itself may be made of carbon whatever but the case seems to be made of some low grade cast steel and if theres a weak point I'd bet this is it - I'm sure I'd get through it with a hack saw or hammer and cold chisel.
"Brought this padlock in 2009 and it is still working perfectly. Has performed well in our recent harsh winters. Our neighbours got burgled instead of us this year when a group of criminals tried to break in to sheds and gardens up and down our street."
"The overall finish quality could be better and one of the keys nearly sheared when locking. Looks better than actual function."

Security and quality are very important to us and we design and rigorously test our products using real life inspired tests to ensure they provide reliable security for many years. Occasional lock maintenance is recommended to extend the life of your padlock. You can lubricate your lock shackle and cylinder with a PTFE based dry lubricant to increase the performance of your product.
"As the person who broke in to my shed would no doubt testify, this padlock may as well have been made of cheese for all the resistance it showed... I would AVOID like the plague if you want a secure method of locking something."
