"after my sander was pinched i got this one thinking it would be a temp stand in till i saved up for a new dewalt but after some time using this little sander im very pleased it performs very well the clips that hold the sheetsare strong with no slip the dust extraction port fits my vac with no adapters and extracts quite well and the machine has little vibration so is pleasent to use for long perods of use the only down side and im being picky is its a bit louder than my old much more expencive makita, all in all a great little sander"
"It comes with a hole punch that lets you stamp the holes for sucking up dust into new sand paper sheets - meaning that you can get any sand paper to fit the machine. For the bargain price in the sale I wish my old sander broker sooner!! Having a break for a bit to write this review as taking all the varnish off the banisters on my staircase is a long job with any sander!"
"I wanted to get a good quality product but didn't want to pay a fortune for it. I paid a little bit more than the cheaper brands, but got so much more than the extra £10 or so it cost to buy this. Build quality is excellent, and it made very light work of sanding door frames, doors, and joints in plaster work between old and new. In fact I think it saved me in excess of an hour or so for the work that I had to do. Put it this way, it will take you longer to wash a door down afterwards than it will take to sand it with this tool! The clasps for clamping the sand paper work well and held the paper without it slipping. I also tried some hook and eye paper, and the base held this in place without a problem. It also comes with a punch for the dust extraction holes. The only negative I could find is that the little bag supplied for capturing dust doesn't capture that much, but I believe that you can attach a vacuum cleaner to it if you want to which should sort this out. I haven't used it much yet, but everything works well and it hasn't broken so I have to give it 5 for reliability. It was a pleasure to use, and would recommend that if you are after this type of sander, on a budget but want a quality tool look no further!"
"This is an excellent and powerful machine and does the job, but like all erbauer tools i have experience of so far, reliability leaves a lot to be desired. funny how you only get a case wjth the cheaper machines!! my machine lasted for one month i think the bearing has gone and i expect a full refund tomorow at the shop and i intend on buying a hitachi next time."
"Bought one of these to renovate a house in September. Worked great for 2 weeks than the base parted from the motor. This happens with sanders as the base drive hole is generally plastic but the driver is metal. Bought this one as I thought it would last longer than the 'cheap' ones but in fact it lasted far less. The motor turns still but the base no longer vibrates. Cant get spares for it from Screwfix and although it is only a few months old they wont replace it as i cant find my receipt. Think I sent it to the accountant. Ok I suppose for a DIYer who uses it once in a blue moon but unsuitable in my opinion for trade use."
