"The chrome feels thin and looks scratched straight from the packet. The chrome cracked and chipping away and one even snapped in half while bending it. Before trying these I normally used pieces of full lengths of chromed copper pipe to bend (with a proper pipe bender) from the rads back into the wall and have never had even a flake of chrome come off. I saw these and liked the price and only need short lengths to run from the rad but wouldn't buy again for this task as its not the same quality. Might be okay if left straight although over-tighten the fittings and they'll probably crack."
"these are cheap chrome fixtures which are not the 300mm length as advertised (which is about the minimum length you'd want) which means they are too short for most towel radiators to be fitted properly. they are also relatively expensive. get the proper chrome plated pipe and get your plumber to cut up the pieces as required"
"Bought these for a new towel warmer to replace radiator in bathroom. As the connnections were further from the wall than with the radiator I had to bend the pipes to fit. The chrome plating came off. I will be taking them back tomorrow."
