"They're probably not the sturdiest things, but for a few quid they are more than ample. Make sure you read the size, as these are twice the length of the actual plug, which was what I was after, but the previous reviewer didn't check and reviewed them poorly. The plug is about 65mm and the bolt is 140 so 75mm extra for larger items. It's currently holding a railway sleeper up as a fireplace so they are pretty strong once in place. Make sure you drill the hole exactly at 16mm, and lightly tap the plug into the hole (with the bolt screwed into it) making sure the trim doesn't come off as it goes into the hole, and that it wont spin in the hole. Also do it up slowly, sometimes they slip in the hole if you try and drill tighten them."

Review 2 for Rawlplug RawlBolts M10 x 140mm Pack of 5
"What the website doesn't tell you is that these are for fittings up to 75mm thick. The bolt itself is about 150mm long. I wanted 75mm bolts for fastening a steel plate to masonry. The full details are in the catalogue - as I found out when I went to pick these up from my local branch. Helpful assistant though."
