"Install this light fitting in my bathroom, and it was slightly larger than I imagined it was when I ordered it - this wasn't an issue however as it looks really good and was very easy to install.
My only problem with it is that it wasn't supplied with cable to connect the light bulb receptacle. However, I imagine that this is due to the fact that this light can be used outside as well as inside, and the respective cable would need to be used.
All in all a great product, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to spruce up the lighting in their bathroom!"
"An excellent light for a fantastic price of £16.99 After been looking for some new lights for our hotel and after the company I use for electrical items told me the price of just over £40.00. I find this light for less than half price and its the same light. Great result and even more great service and I even brought two. Great light and really easy to fit."
"AMAZING VALUE. its a decent quality well made light, real metal, real glass and looks great installed. the glass diffuser does well to disperse the light, but does take a lot of the light away. this is the same for all lights of this type though really, I prefer to go for the 2D flourescent fittings personally, but hey, the customer is always right,"
"I have now purchased two of these to replace older fittings in a bathroom and a toilet. They are simple to fit, provide good light and look good. They operate on a standard ES bulb fitting, I use energy saving bulbs that provide ample light."
"Great value, functional bathroom light. We had our electrician replace 4 ugly recessed downlighters with these units. It allows us to get rid of the recessed fittings and improve the loft insulation above.
Great diffused light, modern looking and good value for money."
"Decent product for the price. Only things i would complain about are the size of the hole for the incoming cable, which could be bigger. It only seemed big enough to fit a 1.5mm twin & earth flex. 25mm hole would be nicer. The diffuser seemed to block a lot of the light. The cables are also connected via push-fit, connector block would have been much easier."
"OK for an IP44 light this is cheap. The downside is there are no internal connections for looping the switch or an extractor fan (I know the latest regs require an isolator, but this does not need to be changed if it is simply a fitting swap), so you have to lose the ceiling rose in the ceiling space above and run a heat proof flex down to the light. The other problem is that the knurled retaining nuts for the cover have silicone washers (for the IP44 rating I presume) between them and the bezel, it's quite tricky to hold all the bits in place whilst you do them up, finally resolved by supergluing the silicone washers to the bezel. Other than that it's a good light. If you are using energy saving bulbs, get one of larger wattage than you would expect to use as the diffuser seems to soak up a lot of the output"
