"I bought this ladder as I need to get up to the bargeboards on our very high Edwardian gable ends to inspect and paint them, to paint the house walls, and to access the gutters at the bottom of the roof to clean and paint them.
The ladder is so light that I can easily carry and erect it on my own. It does have some flex in it when extended, but only a little more flex than a heavy duty builder's ladder of the same sort of length.
It is a manual lift extension ladder, not a roped system, but it never pretended to be a roped system.
I am very happy with it - much cheaper than other ladders I could have bought, easy to use, nice and light, and definitely fit for the purpose for which I bought it.
"After looking around for a ladder on-line, I settled on this one mainly due to the price and the free delivery. The delivery took about ten days which was a bit more than advertised. The ladder was advertised as a DIY ladder I expected it to be lyte (pardon the pun) but the buiid quality is excellent and is very stable while standing on it even fully extended"
