"Bought this to replace a 20 year old hood which was installed when I fitted my kitchen. Fitting was a dream and it's pleasing to note that , even after 20 years, the basic dimensions have not changed too much.
It is, perhaps, a little flimsier than the one it replaced but aren't all things these days?
However, once installed and fitted with the integrated door panel there is no discernible difference between this and the old one apart from the fact that this seem noisier (probably because the fan and motor are new)."
"Hi, this unit is good value for money it does exactly what it says on the tin, One thing that I would change in the design is the position of the exit from the top of the extractor, it should be lower down in the back, to make this fit in a replacement of an old unit of other design was a bit of a struggle, but over all I would recommend it, my recommendation is to view it before buying it and compare to old replacement extractor, but if buying it as a first extractor just go for it highly recommended"
"Chosen as it is one of the quietest and good extraction rate claimed. 600mm wide but factory screw heads are proud and totals 605 mm. Could be a problem if fixing between existing cabinets. Box had been opened - no fittings or instructions/warranty."
"The extractor fan is pretty easy to install and when fitted has a high extraction rate ensuring all steam and cooking fumes are extracted. Much better than the fan it replaced. The fan was puchased along with the extraction pipe kit from Screw fix.
Only issue is the Fan is fitted with only one light but it is sufficent."
"This unit was sourced, fitted and working in 3 hours as a replacement for a 20 year old original in a rental property. The service at Screwfix was, as usual, excellent and the product was excelent value for money, however there was slight disappointment that Screwfix did not stock the carbon filter which is required for a re-circulation installation. This was eventually found online with an item number of QUAFIL294. I am not allowed to name the web site but good luck if you need one."
