Very strong and does the job

"Make sure you clear all the debris from the hole before inserting as if you don't, you can forget using it!
Remember they are 10mm sleeve anchors not 10mm bolts - i would think its quite straightforward reading but some people must not be able to understand that.

Good anchor Bolts
10-Jul-2011

"I used these for fixing fence posts on brackets into brick work, and chose them because of the brand and great price.
They did the job well, but a warning to make sure you clear all the brick dust out of the hole before inserting them in the drilled hole. They are very unforgiving and once in, they won't come out without you risking breaking the brick due to their strength."

"when you buy a 10mm bolt you expect it to be 10mm, not so with Fischer sleeve anchors 10mm is an 8mm bolt it would be very helpful if this was made clear.

Sleeve anchor
20-Nov-2013
By
, Lincoln
"The principle of the sleeve fitting is perfect. Unfortunately the 'lug nut' that is drawn in to expend the sleeve and thus make the anchor is smooth and as a result it frequently spins in the sleeve thereby preventing it from anchoring securely. The 'lug nut' needs to have splines cut into it to give it much more grip in the sleeve and prevent it from spinning. Overall, it can be very frustrating if one anchor catches when another one doesn't, especially if it then needs to be taken out and replaced."
