"This tool may seem pricey for what it is, but it is excellent and works very well. I used it with my Titan SDS drill, and it lifted an entire 16m2 floor and four walls in only a few hours with no damage to either the floor or walls. The cranked design is its best feature. Very pleased with the results."
"What a great bit of kit. Used for removing tiles - glided through all surfaces and removed without digging into walls. Didn't like cement/tile combo from 'old' bathroom/kitchen, but then a 6kg SDS struggled! Despite the cost - recommended kit"
"Quality piece of kit that fits my Makita 4kg SDS Plus Hammer Drill and makes removing wall tiles a breeze. It certainly beats a hammer and bolster chisel and speeds things up no end (and you don't end up with cut & bruised hands :-). I also used it to 'rip up' some 30 year old vinyl floor tiles and remove one of those sandy cement piles they use to fix old w/c pans to concrete floors with - only took a minute to get things back to a flush (excuse the pun) concrete floor. Edge shows no signs of wear, so reckon this is going to last a long time."
"I wa a bit sceptical about paying over £30 for a chisel. I have used wide masonry chisels before to remove tiles from floors, but has been hard going. This chisel flew through them and even cleaned the floor adhesive off. Im very impressed with it"
"Purchased this chisel for removing wall tiles and they came off a treat, but even more impressive was the ease at which it removed render & plaster from breeze blocks. Once you've figured out the correct angle at which to work, the job's a doddle !"
"bought this chisel to make lighter work of removing tiles from a large kitchen/diner. Although a little on the expensive side ( 1/2 the price of my sds drill which came with numerous chisels, drills, and diamond cutters) the chisel was worth it for the time it saved.
Not sure when I'm going to use it next but it's in the toolbox if needed again."
"At first glance the cost of the chisel would appear to be very high, but I bit the bullet and purchased one, fitted into a light weight SD Drill a 3m by 3m fully tiled kitchen wall took 15 mins to remove. the time saving alone plus the lack of effot on my part is well worth the punt.
"I bought this chisel for removing tiles in a floor-to-ceiling tiled bathroom. Although it was nearly as expensive as the SDS drill I bought at the same time (!), it made really light work of the large tiles and left very clean plasterwork behind it. Not really suited to heavy floor tiles, though; my entry level drill really needed a smaller chisel to power through 10mm+ flooring. Overall a good purchase, despite being expensive; it saved me a good deal of time."
"GREAT BIT OF KIT UNTIL IT BREAKS , 1ST ONE LASTED ABOUT 3 HOURS AND SNAPPED INSIDE THE CHUCK, STILL ON THE 2ND ONE (ABOUT 2 HOURS USE) I MIGHT ADD THOUGH THAT THE 2ND ONE CAME WITH A TAG ON SAYING USE FOR ONLY 10-15MINS AND THEN LET COOL TO ROOM TEMP, THAT MAKES IT A VERY EXPENSIVE TOOL YOU CAN USE FOR 10 MINS THEN LEAVE FOR 30 YOU'LL NEVER GET THE JOB DONE, KEEP CHUCK GREASED WITH GREASE SUPPLIED WITH YOUR SDS DRILL"
