"After reading all the reviews about how quickly it snaps I have to say it still goes after removing plaster from 20 m2 of wall. No signs of wear and tear neither. I love it - it added so much speed to my work after fooling around with 40mm heads."
"I bought this to remove wall tiles from a kitchen and bathroom. Builder quoted significantly more than the cost of this tool for two days work. Put this in a DeWalt 2 kg SDS plus drill and the job was done in 2 hours. You need to let the chisel cool after every 10-15 min use but I found it cooled quickly and was ready to go again in 10 min, just enough time to clear the workspace of all the rubble."
"This tool may seem pricey for what it is, but it is excellent and works very well. I used it with my Titan SDS drill, and it lifted an entire 16m2 floor and four walls in only a few hours with no damage to either the floor or walls. The cranked design is its best feature. Very pleased with the results."
"What a great bit of kit. Used for removing tiles - glided through all surfaces and removed without digging into walls. Didn't like cement/tile combo from 'old' bathroom/kitchen, but then a 6kg SDS struggled! Despite the cost - recommended kit"
"Quality piece of kit that fits my Makita 4kg SDS Plus Hammer Drill and makes removing wall tiles a breeze. It certainly beats a hammer and bolster chisel and speeds things up no end (and you don't end up with cut & bruised hands :-). I also used it to 'rip up' some 30 year old vinyl floor tiles and remove one of those sandy cement piles they use to fix old w/c pans to concrete floors with - only took a minute to get things back to a flush (excuse the pun) concrete floor. Edge shows no signs of wear, so reckon this is going to last a long time."
"I wa a bit sceptical about paying over £30 for a chisel. I have used wide masonry chisels before to remove tiles from floors, but has been hard going. This chisel flew through them and even cleaned the floor adhesive off. Im very impressed with it"
"I purchased this product and it has performed great time after time when working on my renovation but all of a sudden it recently snapped. As I only purchased it earlier in the year i called scrwfix and they immediately placed an order for a replacement as it has a years warranty, and it was dlivered the next day, no fuss at all, excellent customer service. Overall slightly dissapointed by the product but i had been using it alot, didnt find it an issue as it was so easily replaced free of charge"
"I used this chisele for removing 17m2 of latex/rubber adhesive from a parquet floor at 1" thick in some areas! Now considering this is designed to remove tiles and plaster, you might say I was asking a lot of it. But it managed it, and well... Untill the shank broke in the sds chuck. This could have been due to over heating or just a faulty shank, but up untill that point it was doing a great job. Took the bit back to Screwfix the next day and swapped it without any problems."
"Purchased this chisel for removing wall tiles and they came off a treat, but even more impressive was the ease at which it removed render & plaster from breeze blocks. Once you've figured out the correct angle at which to work, the job's a doddle !"
"bought this chisel to make lighter work of removing tiles from a large kitchen/diner. Although a little on the expensive side ( 1/2 the price of my sds drill which came with numerous chisels, drills, and diamond cutters) the chisel was worth it for the time it saved.
Not sure when I'm going to use it next but it's in the toolbox if needed again."
"At first glance the cost of the chisel would appear to be very high, but I bit the bullet and purchased one, fitted into a light weight SD Drill a 3m by 3m fully tiled kitchen wall took 15 mins to remove. the time saving alone plus the lack of effot on my part is well worth the punt.
