" I replaced my multifuel stove with one with a bigger boiler. All finished and commissioned. A drip was then noticed under the stove at the back. No way to fix without removing stove and remaking joints. No nonsense central heating leak sealer tried (nothing to lose!). Easy to inject through a radiator and leak stopped. Job done and no great cost. "

" Developed a leaking resistor and being just a pensioner. I did a search to see the easiest and cheapest way to sort it out. So very pleased to find this product on screwfix. Ordering was simple and delivery fast. "

Saved a major job...

" Does what it says... Tho makes it much easier if you use a double radiator - close both valves, then take out both bleed valves, it's then easy to inject. If you follow their instructions it will all squirt back out (or even blow the connectors off the tube). Was really not looking forward to going under the floor, etc, with this I didn't have to! "

Seems to have done the trick
8 Oct 2012

" Used on towel rail in bathroom, where the valves always seem to leak from under the caps (it was definitely the spindles, rather than it trickling from elsewhere). Had already replaced valves twice, so needed another angle of attack.
Used this stuff, and it appears to have worked a charm within a few hours.
Word of advice - when using, I found I had to open both valves on the rad, rather than just one as indicated in the instructions. No way I could get it in with only 1 open. Also, on a tall towel rad like mine, I could really have done with a second pair of hands to open the valves while I kept the pressure on the trigger of caulking gun. Not an issue with product at all, just my own ergonomics.
Used the 1/2" screw thread adaptor that came with product to administer straight into bleed valve at top of rad. Easy peasey.

" my mum had a new combi boiler fitted to her old heating system, pressure drop occurring regularly, installed via radiator blanking plug, turn off rad valves, removed blanking plug injected into rad, refitted plug. worked a treat my heating system now holding 1 bar within 1 week. "

Easy to use
4 Apr 2016

" Easy to use with enclosed adapters, but don't use as directed on a pressurized system unless you want it all to blow back out the end of the cartridge! Either partially drain the system to reduce the pressure, or inject into an isolated, partially drained radiator. "

Disappointing
16 Feb 2016

" I bought this to cure a leaking radiator/valve interface, it wasn't a leak as such, more of a seep. I followed the instructions without a problem and emptied the entire cartridge into the radiator, expecting the seep to stop within 24 hours. 4 days later and it's still leaking! If anything it's worse. So I'll do the job properly, drain down, reseal, reconnect . Waste of time & money. "
