"Does what it says on the tin. Better quality than that sold by a similar tool supplier and cheaper too! If you're in the electrical business or even if you're not and you need to test your electric sockets for faults - get this tester. You won't be disappointed! Such a great price too!"
"Does exactly what it is meant to do. Tried wiring a socket up wrongly to test it and it told me the fault correctly every time. Invaluable, quick & easy to use on various sites/premises to check if socket is safe to use & also protects sensitive equipment from damage due to wrongly wired outlets."
"Picked up from store and got it home used it soon as to find out if it worked. Well it was great so easy to use plug in and go. Would say why I haven't got one before now. Good for the DIY person doing easy jobs. Would recommend this item."
"Bought this as I am thinking of moving home, and needed to check my electrics without calling in an electrician. This pointed out three faults which I was able to rectify myself. A very handy tool at a great price"
"This tester is good for basic testing with good LED displays and audible indicators - steady or pulsing which I like - however not until I opened the package did I know that the warning states Will not identify Neutral / Earth reverse. (Enlarge the image above to see)
This renders it an expensive "Live Socket" tester only it should not be relied upon for safety testing.
That said it is an inexpensive and fast device.
Only bought it yesterday so reliability cannot be known - this is a daft survey question for newly purchased products"
"I'm a sparky a customer bought this and called me out to his house as he had problems with his sockets with vague explanations. Turned out he bought this unit and it showed a fault of reverse polarity. I turned up and used my kewtech equivalent and it showed no earth. Upon further investigation I found the main earth disconnected. I would advise any buyingbthis unit to be aware that it is not a definitive tester only an indicator of power present and should not be trusted."
