"Not good at all.....no screws or clips to clip it together...bought 2 of these, 1 for back and 1 for front but as the saying does go...you get what you pay for, not at all practical-just cheap but not cheerful...AVOID - On the plus side the ringer does light and it does fit into other casings."
"No room for the cable entry and the cover does not stay on, use super glue it's the only way to keep it from falling apart. Can't see this lasting very long will keep it until it falls off then will pay a little more for a better quality one. What can you expect for £2.99!!!"
"Have to agree with other reviews. Couldn't get the cover to stay on no matter how neatly I wired it. Resorted to using tape to hold it on. Will be spending a little more next time and hoping for better quality. Time wasted = money lost."
"Was replacement to a Friedland door bell button. Same as what others have said - not enough space to accomodate side cable entry, and not enough space to contain wire when button is offered back to the mounting plate. To top it all cover lugs are way to weak to retain the cover and the compression of bell wire is suficicient to push the cover off !!! Ended up having to use silicone to hold it in place leaving some MDF boards against it whilst it set off. If this does not work it is going back ! Do yourself a favour and buy a frieldland button instead -Far nicer to fit ! Really not good enough Screwfix !"
"Should have listened to others review... Distance between screw contacts and door frame is only a couple of mm's that combined with the cover being extremely thin, flexible and lugs being way to small cover doesn't close when wire is attached...
I guess if you use a thinner more flexible bell cable it may work as it is intended but as it still doesn't fit securely its in no way weatherproof...
"Cover Lugs did not click back after the cover was removed. Contact screw was rip threaded so would not tighten. Would not wish anyone else to waste there time with this product I returned for refund...."
