""You get what you pay for". How true, how true. I'm a fool who's bought 4 or so B&D 'mouse' sanders. Why ? 'cos they can be picked up for about 30 quid. Each one has burned out after very light use.
So finally I thought I'd spend more on a 'proper' sander that would last. I'm really impressed with this Makita. Just getting it out the box it feels really well made. Sanding the inside of a summer house has been a breeze.
I've I had to complain I'd say it's a little loud (I wear ear defenders always with any power tool though) and perhaps a variable speed would be handy."
"I needed a sander for skirtings, door frames and doors. I was going to buy a full size machine but thought this would be handy for small areas. Now I've got this, I won't be getting a big one! It's powerful, light weight, easy to use and when I've finished work, I can still drink a cup of tea without shaking! Low vibration and when using paper off a roll, if you use the punch plate supplied, it collects most of the dust. Great little sander."
