Customer Reviews for FloPlast 92.5° (87.5°) Bend 40mm
"Very good item easy to use if you repair the pipe with a taper to enter the fitting as it should be done any way not like the review I read where the rubber o ring came out and water leaked.if you do the job correct or don't complain about the fitting when you have not prepared the job as it should be done."
"After reading some of the reviews i was a little bit apprehensive about using these. Anyway I bought some, I cut the wastepipe square, deburred inside and out, used a little lubrication, silicone grease or spit! And Bobs your uncle, absolutely fine. I cannot understand how you could have a problem. Will deffo use again."
"This turned out to be the most timetaking 'quickfit' ever. Each time the elbow was fitted it leaked as the O-ring kept popping out - difficult to spot until water leaks out., It was used with new compatible Screwfit pipe correctly cut cleaned & lubricated."
"fiting is so tight the rubber seal comes out when the pipe inserted, leading you to think the pipe has sealed properly when it has'nt, caused lots of grief when water leaked. Will not use again, this applies to all Floplast fittings."
"On more than one of these fitting I had the o ring turn out of its grove. You only find out this when the bend leaks. On closer exanination the oring has a flash from the manufacturing process which prevents the smooth entree of the pipe. The pipe hangs up on this a pulle the oring out of its grove. I compared it with another make with no flash on the ID of the oring which worked fine. Hope thyis is of help. Very frustrating on a Sunday evening fixing leaks."
