Ronseal Decking Stain

" Have just completed the first coat on my vast area of 9 year old decking which has never been retreated up until now. Very easy to apply and dries very quickly. Found that the first coat soaked up more cans than I expected but
I'm hoping the second coat will use a lesser quantity. I'm very pleased with result so far and
it has the appearance of being very durable.
'Seems to do what it says on the tin.'
Screwfix seems to be selling at the lowest price.

Reasonable decking stain.

" I have a 12 x 12 deck at my backdoor and I pressure washed the decking prior to starting. The decking had only been down two years and had began to look a bit dirty.
I bought two cans and the decking took just over one can to give it a first coat, it dried in no time and I was able to start the second coat pretty quickly.
I was then able to give it a second and third coat but I have to be honest and say I can still see through the stain and see all the dirty marks. Its almost like a milk paint, the decking looks great from a distance, but up close you can still see through it and see the dirty marks.
The stain itself has been durable, it hasnt peeled off during a Scottish Winter.
Regardless, the decking does look better than it did. "
