"What can I say, they are razor sharp, cut through decent thickness branches. We do a lot of clearance work particulary in overgrown gardens/properties, these where so good, that these are our second pair, so we can work even faster."

Review 2 for Spear & Jackson Razorsharp Advance Geared Anvil Loppers
"I have had a S&J Anvil Lopper for over 25 years and it has done a lot of work and finally died (bolts worn and sheared). I purchased the new geared anvil loppers and they are much easier to use, they are lighter, have a PTFE coated blade with an improved design of anvil with serrations that grip the branch. I prefer the anvil type of lopper as it can hook on to branches that are close together and are stronger. It does struggle a bit on its max size of 30mm but slices through branches of around 25mm with ease. For larger branches up to 50mm I use a ratchet lopper which can be very cumbersome using it on smaller branches. I now have the best of both worlds!"
