" Easy to use and works well, a bit tricky on vertical pipes as the liquid can run out of the jacket which is why I only got one application out of the pack instead of two. Overall a good product. "

Excellent product

" First time for me to use this type of product.
It worked exactly as it should. Easy to follow instructions and easy to use. The quantity supplied allowed 2 pipes to be frozen and work completed well before thawing out. No leaks at all.

Great product

" Used a tin to freeze a 22mm chg pipe - it gave about 8 mins working time at room temp before starting to thaw. Would therefore strongly recommend putting a gate valve on immediately the pipe is opened ...just in case you have any delays. - there's nothing worse than seeing that ice plug shoot out ! "

Good pipe freezing kit
30 Sep 2013

" Excellent piece of kit. I have used this to freeze pipes in order to fit isolating valves and a new kitchen monobloc tap. Followed the instructions and it worked a treat. Notes for diy'ers like me: Have everything to hand, including tools and fittings. Make sure your spanners, box spanners etc are the right size. Have extras ready, in my case a junior hacksaw and a pipe cutter. Assemble any parts you can before you use kit. Think the job through in your mind and plan ahead for the expected and unexpected. Do this and the job should go smoothly. Go do it. "
