"It has a handle. It has a blade, with teeth. What more can you ask for in a saw? Unless you want to be able to sharpen it, but at this price save yourself some time and buy another when it gets blunt."
"I've had the 22" version of this saw for about 3 years which was eventually getting a bit less sharp, not helped by half cutting through a hidden but large nail recently. I like the shorter one even better. Virtually no sideways flex which makes it easy to get a straight cut."
"I have been buying Jack saws for about 20 years now and they represent quality and performance sadly the design has more recently changed. The blade is not as deep and the handle smaller which was always its advantage over other eversharp saws. . I still buy however and i have not found one i prefer."
"As a general builder, I use these saws a lot. They have a solid and balanced feel. Unlike many saws, these are not whippy. Also unlike many saws, you can use the handle to give you a reliable 45 and 90 degree angle, even after heavy and prolonged abuse, the handle doesn't start to wobble.
If you're after a good saw, you can't get much better than these!"
"This is a lovely saw, smooth action doesn't grab.It really does increase cutting speed. My only gripe, I would like it to be a bit longer, will remember for next time. Because it cuts so well you can use the whole length.
I use it lots for cutting construction timber, sheet and square.
