"I recently met a fellow sparky who was using wago connectors. He asked me why I wasn't. I told him that I still had a large stock of 'pork pie' junction boxes and wanted to use them up. He was just about to go on holiday so said he would lend me his collection of wago connectors and wago box's. "By the time I get back, you'll have bought your own, and you can replace what you've used". The first job I did was to replace 6 spots in a bathroom ceiling. I estimated it would take three hours of very fiddly work at the top of my steps. Using the wago connectors and wag boxes, it only took 1 hour. The next two jobs I saved about half an hour each. The last two jobs I estimated I saved a couple of hours EACH day. So he was right, I bought my own Wagos and replaced his. I suppose I should buy him a pint too......."
"Ive been using these for about 3 years and am very please Electricfix have finally stocked them. They are excellent, really easy to use and will revolutionise the way you make your connections for downlights etc, and the boxes have the "mf" logo on them. My only issue here is the price. They are available about 20% cheaper at most electrical wholesalers!"
"Wagos are far superior to using a standart old-fashioned JB, and I've used thousands as a professional electrician. I'm not a great fan of the case however, as the latch system is somewhat flimsy, plus this set is missing the 3-way push-connector which is one of the most commonly used. All that said, once you've tried wagos, you'll never use a standard junction box again."
