Great value Brush Seal

"I was a bit apprehensive about quality when these items popped up in my Google search for brush seals for my new sliding garage doors as they were almost 50% cheaper than most of the other alternatives Google found.
However I worried needlessly as I was pleasantly surprised to find they are of good quality making them great value for money. No need to pay extra for screw holes and at 2.5m (2x1.25m) it was longer that the lengths offered by other vendors so was a better fit for my 2.48m doors.
The brush itself is not very stiff nor thick, but I would not want want much thicker or stiffer anyway as that would impede the ease of movement of the sliding doors. Time will tell how well they last.
Easy to cut and fit. Both a plus and a minus is that the brush is separate from the fixing.
The minus: while the brush slides easily and securely into the fixing, it slides just as easily out requiring a stop screw/nail or bit of glue to fix in place.
The plus: When fixing two strips together into < 2.5m, by sliding the longer brush into the shorter cut fixing, the protruding brush can slide easily into the longer fixing strip to keep the strip ends drifting out of alignment."
