"I reviewed a lot of planers on the internet, and this planer had good reviews so I bought one. I had a large project to do, and it has performed above my expectations. Easy to set up, use, and good all round features."
"First Erbauer tool I've owned, although I have used friends/ colleagues before. Simple to use, very accurate and powerful. Excellent value. Minor irritation is you can't shut the carry case properly when you put it back in, but that might just be me! Even my brother inlaw is going to buy one now!"
"Second Erbauer tool I have bought recently (also have multi tool) and equally as impressive for the money and certainly a better design, quieter etc than my previous Black & Decker planer. Only used on a couple of doors so far but feels good and works well."
"Well made tool for this price range. Easy to use for a DIY'r. It gave a nice finish with little effort. I could not have done the job I did with a hand plane. It remains to be seen how reliable the machine is and how well the blades last. It does come with two sets of blades though and they seem to be reversible. Pleased so far."
"not even close planer blade screws were loose and flew out at first use, changed blades that took over half an hour to get it working correctly. now dose work but really struggles and stops even going very slowly trimming pine doors let alone hardwood. gets very hot and stinks thought this would ware off and has not. all in all bad bad buy now after half a dozen uses am getting the dewalt."
"Review title tells all. Who is responsible...collected from store Sunday morning for a job to do same day. When unboxed discovered a dirty product clearly been used previously / repackaged and sold as new!! Who's responsible Screwfix or Erbauer ?? Either way not good. Had to use it because job needed doing. Front part of planer not level with rear! oh...and no spare blades as advertised either! That was one of main reasons I bought it. Should have gone for the cheaper / different make planer"
