A Well Balanced Saw
28 Jan 2015
By StringersBestMate

" Purchased to saw MDF panelling as an addition to some coarser saws, and I wasn't disappointed. It's a lovely grip and I prefer a 20" blade length for balance, rather than a longer blade.
The saw is sharp enough to cut smoothly & accurately, and fine enough to not leave any burst marks on the bottom of the workpiece.
To date, there are many lengths of 8x4 cut with this saw and I have high hopes for many more.
Having suffered for years making do with only one saw, I have now bought several to make light work of all tasks. This is one of the favourites. "

" Stanley Fat Max Fine cut saw.
Not the cheapest disposable hand saw, but the quality of cut and durability of the blade makes this tool the best buy. "

Excellent Saw

" Bought one of these recently - amazing performance on wood - very fast clean cut.
Also used for cutting twinwall polycarbonate very successfully - surprisingly fine finish considering speed of cut and I think much faster than using a machine. "

" The saw I wanted was unavailable so I bought this one. I am pleased that I did as it cuts very well. I have been sawing chip boards for the loft. The Fatmax quickly sawed through with no damage to the board ends "
