"Will only get infrequent use but far cheaper than hiring for odd jobs. Have used 52mm bit twice with first class result. Solid construction should take a fair amount of clout. At £52 I doubt you would find better value for money."
"I bought this kit because it was a cost effective alternative to buying the one size core drill I needed along with associated arbour and pilot drill. Oddly, there is no evidence of a trademark anywhere, not even on the tiny instruction booklet. We have to believe Screwfix that this kit is from Macrist The kit seems robust and is wobble free even when used with the extension bar. time will tell with reliability but the core I used seems good after a couple of holes. the free disc fits my 4" angle grinder perfectly"
"Bought the set but only needed the 117mm core bit and the price difference from single core bit to the pack of 3 was not that great, The 2 smaller bits look OK but the large core bit has very few diamond chips on and it took over one hour to drill through a 9" brick wall using SDS drill ( not on hammer). Probably OK on thermal blocks and soft London bricks but not old well baked bricks."
"With the claimed Marcrist pedigree I was expecting basic quality. The actual core bits seem to cut well but after 2 holes the arbour extension split. A tool like this is worse than useless if it lets you down in middle of a job. Going back for a refund."
