"Had to take a few radiators off, for decoration purposes. So each time I refit and refill I like to add some inhibitor back into the system through the radiator. This kit is brilliant, just remove 1/2" end plug from top of radiator, connect your inhibitor using this kit, then give a squeeze, and Bob's your uncle."
"This product is extremely simple to use (low tech) and very cost effective. The one area for improvement would be a piece of hose that was at least twice as long. This would allow to attach and invert the bottle of additive easily. I would recommend partially draining the system until the highest radiator in the system is a couple of inches below the air vent position, then inject additive at this radiator. This will ensure that you do not get any spillage and no loss of additive."
"I purchased this set to use on the 1 litre Sentinel cleaner to dose into a towel warmer which had only one bleed valve at the top. Fixed to the 1 litre sentinel bottle no problem then used the hose bit to fill it no problem at all"
"I bought this tool and was very impressed this kit does a very awkward job quickly and efficiently and for the price cheap as chips no other company has anything as good and cheap as this saves you loads of money. The only comment is the hose could be a bit longer I just used a piece of my garden hose, it's now in my plumbing kit thanks Srewfix awesome."
"Having tried a combination of straws, funnels, juice cartons and lots of towels, and having no success in decanting central heating fluid into the horizontal radiator valve, I stumbled across this piece of kit.
Although I was sceptical, for the price and a ride in the car I decided to risk it.
The filling kit works really well, with very little loss. You'll still need some old towels, but just don't bother without it. You'll lose patience, your dignity and lots of fluid otherwise.
"Used this kit to put inhibitor in my system through the blanking plate. I used a competitors version of the fluids but the kit still fitted the bottles. The only drips I got was from the connections to the bottle but no major loss. The pipe could be a bit longer I suppose but still a very easy way to do the job, and would recommend this product to anyone."
"A very simple product but made the whole job of draining and flushing heating system extremely easy, Having two adaptors (and two hose pipes)meant the flushing and draining can be quick and targeted."
"Used this to connect heating filling loop to bottle of Fernox leak sealer. Never spilt a drop of water or sealant, job done in 1 minute - took me longer to get into the loft and I have drop down loft steps!!"
"Very hand tool-set - did exactly what it promised - I even only had to use the adapter which screws onto the 1L container and the piece of hosepipe. If I would need to find anything to improve - then maybe the hosepipe should be a tad longer - but else - perfect !"
"glad i purchased this item, it simplifies the job so much better, only slight niggle was it leaking from the bottle, simply wrap some PTFE tape round the bottle head then screw the adaptor on, problem solved ! worth the small price to make the job easier, i bought both sizes for future use, easily recommend this product."
"This is a handy little solution to a problem most will come to at some point when draining and refilling their central heating system. When adding inhibitor to your system use this inexpensive system to avoid those nasty stains on the carpet!"
"Worth the few pound to make life easier. One caution, dont over tighten it to the radiator like i did as its plastic and 'rounds off' very easily. I had to use mole grips which ruined it to get it off! Did the job though."
"Purchased one to add inhibitor to my heating system but spotted a hint on the Screwfix web site to add the inhibitor via the Magnaclean unit instead so returned this product to store for a refund. Looks a good idea product though."
"Used this to get sentinel X400 cleaner into one of my radiators. Made the job a lot easier, as others have said the length of pipe is a little short. However I had some spare garden hose and used a length of that. Will be using to add inhibitor into the system once the cleaner has been removed."
"Was easy to use and no spills - making it superb for filling of empty rad . Only two things would make this better - combining the 500ml and 1 litre kit so that one kit does it all . Also if it included an adaptor for old rads that just have the bleed screw (ie without the BSP - which are now standard) . Small things that would give it 5* plus. Used it for cleaner and then inhibitor and boiler has never run smoother. Took about 1 minute to fit up, pump/pour in and remove. A must have for additives for central heating systems."
